is there something else I need to do other then enter the area code and phone number? please help stuck in Maui Hawaii :)

i did that before and the person i sent it to told me they got it but they wasn't able to read it... so i don't think it works

All you need is area code and number. However, there are situation where there are carrier issues. This is particularly true when dialing to another country. Try using a 1 then the area then the number, and see if that makes a difference. If not, call your cell provider for resolution.

Via the web: Just go to the carriers website and they have a place to "send a text message"

Via your own cell: It should just require an area code and phone number. enter all digits, don't enter dashes or spaces

The eaiest way is to go to the carriers web site, they usually have a link for sending an IM to a phone or at least information on how to do it.

You can send it from your computer. Send the message to (phonenumber)@teleflip.com....such as 5622431234@teleflip.com Works like a charm.
