research orbitz, travelocity, yahoo etc. and find the lowest price ticket and then go to priceline.com and offer 40% less. its worked for me a couple of times

I like orbitz, cheaptickets.com, and expedia best. You can find good deals at travelzoo, too. If you're booking for a quick getaway, site59.com can't be beat.
