Yep, normal. I would talk to your Dr. about it when you go in for your next appointment, but it's not something that I would worry myself about. Are you taking your prenatal vitamins? If so, these vitamins will help make sure you are getting what you need even if you have little to no appetite. Of course, you should try to still eat at least 3 meals a day, but if you can't get one down, don't stress. Many women can't eat at all due to morning sickness, or should we say "24-7 sickness".

Try and find foods that don't ahve too much of a smell to them. Like I can't keep much things down right now either but I am starting to get over that. UMM Just try and find somethings that don't have too much of a smell to them. crackers, regular potato chips, grapes, just some simple stuff. And eat small meals throughout the day. Like I eat 5 small meals a day. Just pretty much a snack every 3-4 hours. Thats all I can do. When I started doing this I started getting my appetite back. Oh the Ensure Healthy Mom. Its really good. They have snack bars and the drink. I like the snack bars better. But they both taste fine

You'll probably get your appetite back, but this might or might not be a bad sign. Make sure you mention it at your check up if it's soon. If your check up is over a week away, you should probably call and make an appointment.

Something else you should be aware of is PREECLAMSIA, and after I considered this question more it might be important to check out the symptoms in the link below.
My son was born 3 months premature due to this rare condition.

Yes it can be for some mothers depending on their pregnancy. I have had 4 children and miscarried 3 times (1 time with twins) and yes with 2 of my 4 pregnancies i did lose my appetite. Don't be alarmed as this may happen throughout your whole pregnancy as it did for my second daughter. Anyways take care and when you do feel hungry eat alot of fruit veggies and protein
and even if you don't feel hungry keep trying to drink milk as it will help you to get some nutrition along with helping the baby develop
GOOD LUCK AND TAKE CARE

With my pregnancy I couldn't look at food for way over half of it. I didn't gain much weight at first either. Everything grossed me out. I made myself eat lots of fruit just so that I was getting some calories. Then like a switch I wanted to eat everything in sight. I think about half way through. You're fine. Just tell your doctor whats going on and make sure he knows of your calorie intake. Congrads on the new baby!

I have had 7 children and with most of them I tended to loose weight in the beginning and then began gaining weight.

I wouldn't be too upset about it unless you begin loosing too much weight (15+lbs). Of course I am sure you are seeing a doctor or midwife who will keep a close eye on your weight.

Blessings to you and your baby!!!

First pregnancies are GREAT!

I have had 3 children and I always went through this. You need to make sure you make yourself eat at least 3 meals a day but don't worry your hunger will come back with a vengence!!

pregnancy comes with a lot of symptom's so appetite loss just might be your symptoms which would make it practically normal. however one of the main objectives of a pregnancy is to make sure the baby is healthy so if you feel the appetite loss may affect the baby please go and see a doctor.

My wife had the same problem, try drinking Ensure. She would eat very small meals throughout the day and most of the time would have to force them down. Hang in there and good luck!!
