Once a single mother myself..my advice is to gaurd your heart and your childs heart and choose very wisely with whom you become involved with. Because if you become seriouly involved with this person,your child does too,and not only do not want to be hurt again,but you don't want your child to fall in love with a jerk as well...But on the other hand don't be so scared of getting hurt and let that hold you back from what may turn out to be a good thing...Good Luck Honey..

Don't keep it a secret from your kid(s) and don't keep your kid(s) a secret but don't get them involved with the guy as much as you can until it looks like there's a future and starts to get serious. It will save them and you a lot of heartache if he's not "the one". Been there. Best of luck to ya!

Just be up front that you have a child. If the guy isn't excepting of you having a kid that he is not worth giving your heart to!
