Please read all of the questions by a user named: have to know. The one starts with "Why would this father do such a thing".

If you continue to read, please read my post (AngrySon)and comment on it because she has resolved the question so no one could comment on what was written by me.

Also take note that she has posted four different questions with four different versions of the story. She obviously is attempting to rationalize her behavior.

This is driving me nuts. Is it just me or is she crazy?

I believe I made the right choice. Can you help?

Honestly, I don't think I would have called the police BUT I would have had a long talk with your brother and niece. I would have also talked to your son to find out if he understood what happened, what his cousin was trying to do, and I would have confirmed that they were dressed. Then I would have contacted his pediatrician and explained the situation with the details I collected. At that point if the doctor thought there was a need to have your son talk to someone I would do so, if not I would explain to my son, grandmother and brother that your niece IS NOT to be allowed alone with your son PERIOD!!!! Keep an eye on him, he should be OK. Children are curious about the opposite sex (it's natural).

I commend you for being honest with your son about sex (the hamster thing). If your child is old enough to ask how or why he is old enough to be given a honest (age appropriate) answer! Bravo!!!!!!

Accept your mom for who she is.....it is not likely that she is going to change. Just raise your child to the best of your ability

Good Luck

Boy, you should stop turning to yahoo answers for a problem like this, lol. Your kids are young, nobody's head is messed up... yet. Stop the sex talk, forget what happend between the kids, they saw it somewhere on t.v. or whatever and are copy-catting, kids do that, but keep a watchful eye on them so you can nip it in the bud if it comes up again. Tell them its inappropriate and try to keep sexual matters away from them. They are young and impressionable. I don't feel you are out of line but ease up on the blame on your daughter if in fact your mom was right about that. Whew...good luck.
