I am a guy, and this one girl that I know has told me a few deep secrets about herself over the last few months. She said for a few of them that "I have never told anyone this." She is always down on herself, and I always try to uplift her when she puts herself down, but I am wondering why she continues to be so totally open about herself. Any ideas?

She must really feel that she can trust you. You must be a good person. Let her vent, but don't turn into dear abby for her. Otherwise she will suffocate you with problems. Sounds like you are a good friend though.

Obviously she thinks that she can confide in you or maybe you just give her good advice! I have a guy friend like that he's always so open about everything but there is no way to tell a person that they tell you too many things that you don't want to know without hurting their feelings!
if you care about her and it seems like you do then just keep listening to her she trusts you! Believe me that's very hard for some girls to do!

She trusts you. Maybe you are the only person she can tell these things to. When a girl can confide in a guy it means she truly trusts him. It may also be because she likes for more than a friend. She could be sharing these things with you to show you she wants you in her life.

it sounds like she trusts you more than anyone else. she probably feels like you won't judge her and that you truely listen to her. you are a great friend if you try to uplift her spirits....but she is probably just needing to get some things out to someone that she trusts that she has had inside her for a long time. keep being there for her!!

She prolly feels like she can trust you. And you're prolly a really good listener. Girls like that.
She also might like you. She feels save around you and feels that she can tell you anything.
So, just keep giving her a shoulder to lean on and sooner or later you found out what it truly is.

Well she must feel very comfortable with you and maybe have love for you. So if that's how she expresses herself then that's cool. Let her know that she's telling you to much if it bothers you.

Probably just asking for attention. Drawing someone in and making them feel like a confidant is key to people that like to manipulate, actually.

A)she really trusts you and it kills her to keep it bottled up inside
B) she likes you and this is her way of showing it...?
and if it makes you uncomfortable, her telling you all of this, politely ask her to stop and to try and confide in somebody else. hope that helps!

well,she trusts you and is comfortable sharing things with you...its a compliment buddy ,that you make her feel so....you give her undivided attention and a listening ear which a woman always craves for in her life from her partner........

She probaly feels like you dont judge her when she tells you whats going on. She probaly doesnt have anyone else to talk to that she trust. everyone needs someone like taht. if you are uncomftorable with it you need to tell her.
