The headache and general ill feeling of a hangover is caused by dehydration. The best cure is an IV bag of fluids, but unless you know a medic that isn't available. The next best thing to alleviate the headache is to take two Tylenol or pain relievers before going to sleep after the night out. And, lastly in the morning the best cure for morning after is Alka-Seltzer plus cold medicine. But, since most don't like the taste, some sort of sports drink like gatorade or powerade is a good idea. Just replenish the fluids or mask the pain, your choice.

Prevent a hangover by setting your alarm an hour early and downing two aspirin and a pint of water.

Get rid of a hang over by rehydrating. Gatorade is usually best. Just drink until you have to use the restroom again. Hangovers are caused by the dehydration associated with diuretics like alcohol.

Drink lots of water before you go to bed and sometimes i will take two aleve or advil before i go to bed - since I tend to get headaches once i get up after drinking the night before. Also stay away from mixing wine with beer and hard liquor, the best is to have clear liquids, such as vodka/tonic, vodka/soda, etc. sugary drinks (cosmos, appletini, etc) will provoke a headache
