Is asking and answering questions here a religious exercise?

For me, I'd say it's more of a "theological" exercise than a "religious" one. I've had to stretch my mind a lot here, and have enjoyed it. Sometimes I look back at my answers and think, "Man, what was I thinking when I wrote that???"

Soooooo.... yeah it's at least a theological one!

For some .... in case you haven't noticed the world is being torn apart by religious stupidity ..... are there really more important questions to ask than those questions that concern things that cripple our society?

I don't believe so. I think that it is more for mental stimulation and entertainment than for some theological connotation. However, I do see people using the forum for anger management as they place themselves into arguments that simply stimulate aggressive emotions.

Not for atheists it's not, I can't speak for everyone naturally but for this atheist anyway it's not.
