I have been looking for days on yahoo and google, what i need is a picture of a racehorse approaching the finishing line, it must be a fairly large picture, and the horse muct be approaching from the left of the screen, ideally would like a close finish, but not dead heat or photo (about half a legnth!)
Thanks

You can also try your own searches using the image searches at both yahoo and google. And, you can take any photo that comes in from the right and reverse it easily so that it comes from the left instead of the right.

A great one that fits the right to left is http://www.france-galop.com/promo/imarc/C1_S05.jpg

I always use www.racingpostpix.co.uk.

They have a database of hundreds of photographs so you can pick which course, or meeting, you want (if you want the horse approaching from the left hand side you should look at courses such as York, Lingfield, Newmarket (July Course), or Haydock, as these are "left-handed" courses). If you want any particular well-known horse they will probably have a selection.

Hope you find what you need.

www.bloodhorse.com - that site IS *horse racing*. There is a section there in the links with all kinds of photos of current and past racing stars as well as famous prospects. You could also contact your nearest race track and ask for the track photographer, who has pictures of every race, and ask for one. You can get pictures in either place in 8X10. Approaching *from* the left it'd be a US photo.

I assume you have tried yahoo images and google images... There is also dogpile.com which has an image serach. Depending what you are using this for, many images are copyrighted and you would not have permission to use the image, so be careful.

You can also try istockphoto.com, but there is a samll fee to purchase the image.
