Well first when I answered the other question of yours I said use plastic pants as a last resort. Going up a size will probably work & making sure his penis is pointed down. He very well might leak out of the plastic pants but as i said use them only if all else fails. (not to sound smart but did he age a whole month in a day?? He was 6 months in your other ??)

There are certain diapers out there which are actually cheaper .. but i would actually stick to ones which are slightly more expensive such as huggies or pampers .. reason being that the cheaper brand don't use as absorbent materials as these two brands

There's another factor that you need to look at .. what time does your son sleep at and how many hours does he sleep? you never know if that diaper has been used for so long that you may want to change him

Another thing that would help is put him on larger diapers than what he's using now if it's leaking so much .. also make sure that the wings on the diapers are pulled out .. sometimes when they are stuffed in it creates a hole leaking out whatever he's peeing

Good luck :)

I wouldn't want to sleep with plastic pants. Have you tried a diaper made especially for overnight? Maybe you need to go up a size in the diapers as well?? My daughter leaked too, but it didn't last very long. I would try a heavy duty diaper before the plastic, they just sound uncomfortable!!

Have you tried using the next size up? Usually when my kids leak out of their diapers it means the diaper is too small. Just because your son fits within the weight guidelines for the diapers doesn't mean they aren't too small for him. Try the next size and see if that helps. And make sure his penis is pointed DOWN when you diaper him. If it's pointing up or to the side you'll be guaranteed a leak.

He is probably sleeping on his side and disposable diapers do not have any absorbent material in the wings.

Try switching to cloth diapers with plastic pants or to pocket diapers where you have a waterproof cover that the cloth diaper slips into.

Cloth is cheaper, better for the baby, doesn't clog the landfills and all that stuff you probably heard before already.

They really are the best.

Good Luck.

actually, try this first, make sure his penis is pointed downward when you put his diaper on (that way the urine is flowing to where there is more absorbency) if that doesnt do the trick, from my experience (my daughter leaked out of her diapers) take a cloth diaper and fold it then place it in the front of his diaper (also make sure penis is pointing down) make sure all the fabric is covered by the diaper that way it wont saturate the fabric and start coming out the top...they do also sell liners for diapers for this reason, but they were expensive, you can also use a burp rag is you have one handy, then if that seems to work buy a package of the cloth diapers...good luck

My son is 6 months and the same thing happens. I too have tried different types of diapers and the same thing happens. My son drinks a lot right before he goes to bed and I guess he just pees a lot during the night. Sometimes he will wake up and I will change him in the middle of the night.

i would just try changing him at least 1 to 2 times during the night. IF he sleeps Thur the night ALL THE TIME in a over soiled diaper that could irate his Lil butt a lot cause a bad rash. Some kids just pee more you can just buy overnight diapers and change him often a diaper rash is PAINFUL to a baby. My kids doctor always said if they leak everynight you just need to change them more often.

All of the other answers are great. But one thing that was not brought up was the possibility of too much fluids at night. If your baby was like mine I gave him bottles at night to get him back to sleep. He would be full and leak all the time. If he is above 16lbs. then he is old enough to sleep through the night without a feeding. So you might have two problems here. If This is not the case then good luck and try what others have said!! Good Luck!!
