song that when you hear it speaks to you so personally that when you hear it you are overwhelmingly humbled and grateful for God's grace? Why?Mine is...

Beautiful Redemption by Joy Williams
I've had my forty days and forty nights at sea
I've had forty years in the wilderness, or so to speak
I've walked with sand from the ocean floor on my feet
To turn and say you left me
I'm a doubting Thomas in needing to believe
I'm a perfumed sinner just like Magdalene
I'm Judas kissing on your cheek eager to decieve
I am all of these
Chorus
I cry, Father, Father, forgive me
You say, Child, I already have
You are beautiful
Beautiful Redemption
You are Beautiful
Beautiful Redemption
I'm the guilty thief that's hanging by your side
and my shame is dying with your sacrifice
And all my fears come crashing down as I look in your eyes
I see paradise
Hallelujah (we all, we all, we all fall down) x4
You are beautiful
Beautiful Redemption
You are Beautiful
Beautiful Redemption

I like Ray Boltz's "Watch the Lamb"

Words and Music: Ray Boltz

Walking on the road to Jerusalem
The time had come to sacrifice again
My two small sons they walked beside me down the road
The reason that they came was to watch the lamb

They said, Daddy, daddy what will we see there
There’s so much that we don’t understand
So I told them of Moses and Father Abraham
And then I said dear children watch the lamb

There will be so many in Jerusalem today
We must be sure this little lamb doesn’t run away
And I told them of Moses and Father Abraham
And then I said dear children watch the lamb

When we reached the city I knew something must be wrong
There were no joyful worshippers there were no joyful worship songs
And I stood there with my children in the midst of angry men
Then I heard the crowd cry out,
Let’s crucify Him

We tried to leave the city but we could not get away
Forced to play in this drama a part I did not want to play
Why upon this day were men condemned to die
Why were we standing right here where soon they would pass by

I look and I said even now they come
The first one cried for mercy, the people gave him none
The second one was violent and he was arrogant and loud
I still can hear his angry voice screaming at the crowd

Then someone said there’s Jesus and I scarce believed my eyes
A man so badly beaten He barely looked alive
Blood poured from His body from the thorns on His brow
Running down the cross and falling to the ground
I watched Him as He struggled and I watched Him when He fell
The cross came down upon His back, the crowd began to yell
In that moment I felt such agony in that moment I felt such loss

Until a Roman soldier grabbed my arm and screamed "you carry His cross"
At first I tried to resist him but his hand reached for his sword
And so I knelt and I took the cross from the Lord
I put it on my shoulder we started down the street
The blood that He’d been shedding was running down my cheek

They led us to Golgotha they drove nails deep in His feet and hands
On the cross I heard Him pray "Father forgive them"
Never have I seen such love in any other eyes
"Into They hands I commit My spirit" He prayed and then He died

I stood for what seemed like years lost all sense of time
Then I felt these little hands holding on to mine
My children stood there weeping and I heard the oldest say
Father please forgive us the lamb ran away

Daddy, daddy what have we seen here
There’s so much that we don’t understand
So I took them in my arms we turned and faced the cross
And I said dear children Watch the Lamb

Firmly I believe and truly
God is Three, and God is One;
And I next acknowledge duly
Manhood taken by the Son.

Refrain
Sanctus Fortis, Sanctus Deus,
De profundis oro te,
Miserere, Iudex meus,
Parce mihi, Domine.

(Holy Mighty [One], Holy God,
From the depths I pray to you,
Have mercy on me, my Judge,
Spare me, Lord.)

And I trust and hope most fully
In that Manhood crucified;
And each thought and deed unruly
Do to death, as He has died.

Simply to His grace and wholly
Light and life and strength belong,
And I love supremely, solely,
Him the holy, Him the strong.

And I hold in veneration,
For the love of Him alone,
Holy Church as His creation,
And her teachings are His own.

And I take with joy whatever
Now besets me, pain or fear,
And with a strong will I sever
All the ties which bind me here.

Adoration aye be given,
With and through the angelic host,
To the God of earth and Heaven,
Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

they at the instant are not Jews as a results of fact Jew's don't think the messiah has come yet. they do no longer have confidence Jesus so believing in Jesus and announcing your Jewish for sure contradicts one yet another.... it relatively is unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that decision themselves "Jews". stop this prepare now, your disgracing the two Judaism and Christianity.

Great post!

The one that comes to my mind is "I'm but a stranger here".

It takes you through the heart felt trials of this world and keeps your eyes pointed to Jesus.

I have requested this be played at my funeral.
