No. You can tone specific areas, but you can't lose weight in a specific area.

No, you can't. Unless you get liposuction.

Watch, people are going to tell you to do resistance exercises. They'll say to curls to lose weight in your arms, do crunches for your belly, etc. But they are wrong.

In truth, building up a muscle does not cause you to lose weight specifically around or above that muscle. However, it does create a "tighter," more toned appearance.

If you lose weight, you cannot control where on your body the weight will come from.

The general, consensus is, that one cannot selectively 'spot' reduce as a result of diet and/or exercises...though, a genetic factor may be one exclusion of which little data appears to be available.
The 'reverse' is widely accepted...that, genetically, people may be inclined to build and store fat at a different rate and level dis-proportionately; leading to 'Big-Butt' syndrome...etc.
Considering this observation...if a person can 'gain' and store fat more abundantly in a certain area of the body, dis-proportionately that, could be appropriately described as 'spot' gaining ...so, 'spot' reducing may actually be possible for some individuals but, 'not' in a self-selecting manner. Nature is still in control as to 'where' one is able to accomplish this feat on his or her body.

you cannot spot lose--however you can spot train--just keep in mind that body fat loss goes away where it wants to first, so if you are training a specific area and gain muscle there you may still have fat in the same area and you will be larger in that area--do cardio daily, watch what and how much you eat and strength train--the more muscle you gain the more fat you will burn! good luck!

Nope, the only way to lost weight is to burn more calories than you take in. Your body decides where it will burn the fat from. Every person is different and there's nothing you can do about it. Sorry!

no, when you lose weight you lose the weight all over your body. unless you use a weight loss system that is targeted at one part of your body like the suana belt which you would lose weight around your stomach.

No. You can tighten your belt, which might help with your "loose" weight.
