#1 - it is a gall bladder, not gawl
#2 - her stomach wall did not collapse
It's major surgery but it is done daily and carries very low risk.
Maybe you should learn to use this web site better. The stomach is a soft organ that stretches like a balloon. It is very common for non medical people to get facts confused, so don't be offended, but her stomach wall did not collapse. If she's had bariatric surgery for obesity it's possible that she has a leak in her stomach if the surgery was recent.
Try the edit next time and don't be so easily offended. I just think it is sad when non medical people make such a dumb statement because of lack of knowledge.

First, it is your gall bladder. Surgery now for that is done with minimal cuts, just four cuts less than one inch each around the stomach. No need to be nervous, she will be up in a couple of days and might even be able to go home the same day.

I had mine removed too. For a first surgery it is scary coming outta the drugs but she'll make it. Never heard to a wall collapsing. ask her mom I'm sure she know more. She'll be better in know time and back up and going. Be there for her and help support her that's all you can do for now. Just don't make her more nervous though. just be there

if they do the op by keyhole surgery she should be up and about very quickly. If she has to have open surgery, it will take longer to get over. But ive no idea about a collapsed stomache.

I had my Gallbladder out 6 years ago. It is a simple and common surgery. They go in through a tiny hole, and through the belly button. You have to look hard to a see a scar. She will be fine. I found the pain from the surgery was nothing compared to the painful gallbladder attacks.
