Walking is great! BUT there is a great exercise to do that really tones them. I love to have rock hard calves so I walk almost 20 miles a week {which isn't really that much} but what you do is get some weights. I use 8 pounds but if you're a man you may want more. Then you stand on the edge of a step. Your toes should be on the step while your heels are just in the air. Stand on your toes and then go back to the begining stance. If you don't have a step you can use a big phone book. That's what I do. You do this 50 times a day and you'll notice a difference really quickly!

Are you talking about your calf muscles? The best way that I know of is by standing straight and going up on your toes. Hold yourself on your toes for a count of 5 then come back down. Do this 15 to 20 times a few times a day. You should notice some stronger calves in a few weeks.

at the beginning congratulations on dropping the load you have so a strategies. The boring answer is that in case you preserve eating top and exercising you will discover the fat will flow off your legs, besides the undeniable fact that it will take time. everybody's physique responds to fat loss in different strategies - in many cases the area we would decide for to lose it maximum is the final to tutor effects, yet you are able to no longer stress adjustments in one specific section. you're additionally nevertheless coming up - at sixteen your physique hasn't finished turning out to be, so there are nevertheless adjustments to return. That pronounced, lunges and squats are great workouts for strengthening the muscle groups of the legs- in spite of the fact that in the event that they are nevertheless donning greater fat than you want, generic workouts like those will improve the form of your legs.

Would that be like your calves?
To tone my calves I do my cardio on my toes. So I run or use the eliptical machine up on my toes, instead of flat footed.
I've noticed a hugh difference in my calves in a relatively short time.

You can do calf raises. Put a heavy weight on your shoulders and stand on your tippy toes about 10 times. It really tones up your calf muscles.

If you are referring to your calf muscles, here is one exercise to try. I am not sure what is called but you take a barbell on your shoulders or two freeweights (one in each hand) much like you would for squats. Then, standing shoulder width apart, stand up on your tiptoes. Then come back down. up and down on your toes should work those muscles. You can also try walking, bicycle, and other aerobic machines.

You mean your calves? Try leg raises with ankle weights or raise up on your toes, like you're wearing high heels, and then down. If you have stairs, use them often.

Stand on your tippy toes when you walk. Try to do this around the house, when no one is looking or they will laugh at you. Do this for at least 20 mins everyday. You will have HUGE calves. i did this during my football years, excellent results and it's free too!
