You're trying to give God boundaries that we humans have. Like God could be bored? Who's to say we're His only creations? You're trying to define and limit a being that is limitless, timeless, and completely not human. The most human thing that we're taught about God is that He loves us.

The Earth is theroized to be 4 Billion years old.
The Bible also tells us that the Earth was created "in its fullness" wich could mean he created it, left it alone to "grow" and took a really long nap, maybe had a sandwich.

God set a process in motion, called evolution, which has resulted in you asking that question. Imagine how much love it took for him to spend 14.5 billion years creating you.

There you go trying to find logic in religion.
Faith = the opposite of reason.
God created the universe in 6 days. All that science stuff is just hokey crap for those who are unwilling to believe what the pope says.

He took an extended holiday so he could get the blue print just right. Even after all that, he still made a prototype before he made the masterpiece. LOL ;0)

The world is only between 12,000 and 15,000 years old. The calendar we use today is different to the Jewish calendar which is the oldest calendar in existence. It can trace the world back to between this amount of time. People who guess billions of years wouldn't have a clue where they dig up their info from. It's rubbish.
