Maybe you blew his mind and he didn't know to invite you in. Then on the other hand it seems to me that your a "Right Up Front Person" you should have invited yourself in.... Maybe he was married and his wife was in the other room or his gf... Maybe he was getting wood and was trying to control without letting you know...

Perhaps he was expecting someone else and thought neither one of you would be comfortable in his house with him wearing just a towel.

...That he just got out of the shower and didn't have time to change before opening the door?? ...Now if you two had a date and you picked him up....may be you were just too early??...and if he didn't invited you in...could that be that his place was to messy and he didn't want you see it??....I'm just guessing
