How long has this been going on? If it's just been a few days, don't worry about it. However, if she won't sleep alone after a week or so, you need to work with your sister so that you can regain your privacy.
Sleep with her in her room, and then move to your room after she is asleep. Will your mom allow a night light in her room? That may help her regain her confidence.
And, ask your mom not to let your little sister watch any more scary movies. Obviously, she's too young.

Get her a night light. Or maybe wait a little more and she'll go back in her room. But she will eventually it's just a mater of time. You just have to be patient. And don't let her watch anymore scary movies since she's obviously too young

i think of you're doing high quality, My daughter is 8 and hates being on my own too, no actual reason the two yet she rather hates the dark and being on my own besides. Her mattress room is sturdy next to mine, princess nightlight resembling what you're doing. maximum nights she will have the means to sleep in there yet a pair of times a week she sleeps in with me and the subsequent night feels okay to pass lower back into her very own mattress. She is slowly getting greater clever so with a bit of luck it rather is a few thing they could advance out of.. sturdy luck yet i think of you're doing a super interest.

First of all you shouldnt have let her watch the movie and secondly just tell her that those things arent real they are pretend and get her room a night light so that could help.

Her age is important here too.
How old is she?
Why doesn't she crawl in with mom and dad?
My daughter still goes through this because her dad lets her watch them and I hate it!
Don't let her watch them anymore and gradually she will lose the nightmares.I would say let her crawl in with you or stay with her until asleep.
Have her leave a lamp or nightlite on in her room,at least until asleep. This is what I do for my daughter.

Dont insist her to sleep alone right now. Try watching comic movies or cartoons for a few days along with her for a few days before sleep. It may help.............
