WOW ! This question has evoked a lot of emotions. I think Indians all over the world will answer in the positive. It's in our genes.
But I am curious by the responses given by the non -Indians. I think any intelligent, educated, curious, tolerant person from any part of the world should find India a JOY to unravel. There is so much to learn from India....the diversity is mind boggling. OK living in India may not be easy because of the everyday hassles .
I honestly believe a study of India and its rich culture ( Upanishads , Yoga , epicurean delights )by anyone from any part of the world will make that person so much better and interesting ( instead of being bigotical & fanatical)

I saw a show called 30 days where this guy went to India because he was outsourced. I like it because the culture seems cool. Right now it is a strong mix between traditional and modern, but I dont like the Government because they allow their people to starve while big corporations set up shop and make alot of money. There is so much income that they are pulling in, which is a good thing, but hardly any of it is used to regenerate the civilians. There is no public sanitation, no waste pick up, no developed housing. Plus I dont like the fact that women are oppressed. Pretty soon Im sure that will change though because its becoming more modernized every day.

I love india. I dont love it coz of its stupid politics or irregular roads, i dont love it for its wealthier people or its poverty ridden villages and slums.
I love it for it rich history. Its multiple cultures, multilingual communties, many religions, and multi cuisine food.
We indians are not stealing other peoples jobs. Your companies are offering it to us. They want people who are as resourceful as you are but at a much cheaper cost to the company so they are here. Even we will be happy not to have an foriegn company in india as they are nothing but maligning the historical nature and moral values among our youth. Would you like to be blamed for that first. I am an Indian, but i dont have any hatred for any other nation. We and pakistanis were brother earlier and will be like that for ever, but for those cunning foxes running our both governments and creating hatred among us. These politicians are the real terrorists. Every person on earth has a right to live and love. All are brothers. All come under one race and religion--The Human Race. When time comes we will all unite. Amen

Sure, why not ? It is the best place to live and die, though not for making money.
This is because in the Indian culture, absolute things were given priority. For example, consider the ancient language, Sanskrit- each word in it conveys a definite meaning of life w.r.t the absolute truth. Thus, the word for "body" is "sarirah" meaning that which is perishable. Each word reminds us of the absolute truths, instead of drawing us into the vortex of false delusion of the permanence of things.
If you study the vedas and the yogasutras, you will find in-depth research has been carried out on almost all the fields which interest man.
The yogaSutras, deal with psychic powers also, a minute fraction of which have been demonstrated by modern psychics like Uri Geller.
Where does the rest of the world, look to for peace of mind and spiritual guidance ?
Quote from a great Indian :
"Where men, Ganges and woods dream of God....I was blest....My body touched that sod...."

Good question. Make no mistake, there are lots of 'em, who love India, more than many Indians can themselves dream! India is a great Oriental country. She is very much required to supplement the Occident, and help the process of "Globalization & World Peace."

India is a beautiful culture. I started becoming interested in India because of astronaut, Kalpana Chawla who died on the space shuttle columbia in 2003. I loved her warm heart and her spirit and I came to love India. I've met many Indians and I feel they are the most brightest and smartest people on Earth. I've also taught myself some Hindi..
