I Do understand you, I know where you are coming from, I am a mom whose kids told ME to STOP WITH THE TALKING and LISTEN!
I learned...and they did too.
MOMS need to talk...BUT WE need to listen too.
Is she just going on and on with nonsense?
OR trying to tell you something?
Maybe you can tell her something
TRY THIS...
"Mom, I really love you, but sometimes I just need to hear myself and think alone, could we just have like *4 nights a week were WE can BOTH talk? You know WE both share ideas?
and the other three nights just say what you really need to say but give me some space? OK? Because I really need my time to just be me?"
*YOU add your times when you think you and her can TALK
TRY to VALIDATE HER too and her NEEDS...
but express the need for you to be you...
it is important too...SHE needs to know YOU and to do that she needs to listen.
Tell me did she recently get divorced?
Or separated?
Has she lost a job?
What DO you KNOW about her?
When you sit at the table...
to talk...
DO THIS also
Take a TALKING STICK
when you hold it it is your turn to speak...
when you have finished your thoughts give the stick to her and it is her turn.
IF she has trouble letting go of the stick then set a timer...
and when the TIME is UP she has to pass the stick.
IF she does not go by the rules OR you either...
then the TALK is over and no one is heard.
ONLY TALK if you can follow the rules.

Is she nagging or just talking to you? Many young people would love to have a mom who talks to them instead of no mom at all,. or one that hardly ever talks to them. Figure out what you want your children to say to you if you become a parent and talk too much to them, then use that. Also, ask yourself the question if whatever you decide to say , how would you feel as a mom hearing it from you children. Is it something that would or would not hurt your feelings?

you should love and respect your mother, not tell her to shut up.
if you are doing something (like your homework) that requires concentration, then ask her if you can finish up doing what you need to do, then the two of you can talk.
approach it in a mature manner and you can get a mature response from your mother.

maybe you're bad that is why she always talk to you. Giving you examples on how to behave properly. That is your mom, respect whatever she say. If you don't wanna listen, then just look at her and nod or say yes. When you become a parent, then you will know and understand.

Be frigging happy you can hear her,One day you won't have her and you will regret saying this.I would kill to be you hearing my Mom talk one more time,but I can't because she passed away.I would give anything just to hear my Mom voice one last time.

Your mother loves you or she would ignore you. You should appreciate her while you can because all to soon she will be gone. My mother died this year and I would love to hear her voice now.
