may collect but delivery would be great,my wooden fence has had it and still 3 weeks of school holidays!!!!!!!

you should consider aac, which is also very effective concrete, cheaper and weighs much less..

If you are saying that you cut a narrow slit trench 18" deep and buried the first 18" of Fence Panel in it, then I would be surprised if it lasted more than a couple of seasons - if that - before snapping off at ground level. If you are talking about setting timber posts 18" down, to which you attached 6 foot fencing then that is different. Firstly 18" is not deep enough. Secondly, the nails will serve no purpose at all. Given a few really windy days your fence will soon start to lean over and in doing so will start to unpick the fence panels. There is a LOT of pressure on high fences during very windy weather. Remember, its not much more than a century ago when ships crossed the globe driven solely by the power of wind against canvas.

Have a look on EBay type in item 110020431881 there is a guy from Skelmersdale Lancashire selling some fence panels going for 99p at the mo 3 Days left. I dont know where Skelmersdale is from you but good luck anyway. I Love EBay give it a go.

They are usually called gravel boards as they sit at the bottom of your fence. Most garden/diy centres do them.
