I'm already planning my son's 1st b-day party. It'll be on sept. 23rd. The theme will be Elmo. What songs do you recommend? I don't know anything about kids' music. Please help! Thanks :)

At 1 year old the party is going to be focused on the adults. Don't drive them all away with goofy songs playing in the background. Just let the kids (babies) fumble around and play.

Mine totally went "gaga" over Barney and Sesamee Street and they seem to love Toddler Tunes (bought it at WalMart). Have fun oh and a hug to the birthday baby AND the Mom who brought him him here) (too many people leave the Moms out , and after all the hard work you went through to bring him here, I always take a rose for the Mother when I attend a birthday party)

why dont you find a sesame street cd or rent some sesame street videos and have it play on tv for the younger kids. or get a baby lullaby cd or play some oldies-50's. we always played that and our 10yrold daughter loves listening to it now and it soothes her.

Any of the kids music CD's would work. My daughter loved the playschool CD's.
