I stare at them a lot, I personally blush, put my head down a lot or avoid looking at them when there's a chance that he'd look back at me, my voice gets deeper when I talk to guys, uh, stuff like that.
Those are my subtle hints. There are no 'sure-fire' ways of knowing if she likes you. You'll just have to ask her out in the end, so why wait? Take a leap of faith. :)

She will likely talk to you and smile often. Perhaps she will show interest in the things you do. She may even tell you depending on where she is comming from.
To get a guys attention I might flirt...just a bit, when I know he may be around I might dress differently it all depends on the mood and the guy.

I go out of my way to talk to guys I like. I will laugh at what they say, attempt to attract their attention, and complement them. Ask her out, if you are nice and somewhat attractive the average girl would say yes.
