oooh... i dunno if u should do that daily. well, its almost the same thing as a real flat iron, but flat irons protect ur hair a little more because that's what theyre made for. i guess u can do it every day, but if i were you, i would use something on your hair, like Paul Mitchell's Soft Spray (you can find it at a drug store), so that you don't get split ends and dry hair. but i would maybe consider asking for a flat iron for your birthday. the best one rite now is the Sedu Ionic Ceramic Flat Iron (1") (you can buy it online). i use it rite now and it is seriously the best one out there... the BEST not kidding ill give you a link to the reviews <3

I don't think it can be very good for your hair...but if you can I would say, try to switch to a ceramic flat iron. It's "better" for your hair, and less hassle. You're probably are doing this already but; you should use products to protect your hair from the daily heat, and also try to deep condition(ieV05 hot oil treatment) you hair at least once a week, to help pit repair any damage.

Yes, A Clothes Iron gets to hot. You are burning your hair. You can buy a hair straightener at the store for 10 bucks that won't damage your hair. There is also a wet to dry one that is better but costs a little more but worth every penny. My daughter could not live with out it.Good Luck!

Yes it is. You should iron your hair with a hair iron not a real clothes iron. They have great irons that do not damage your hair too much. And you should also try to only iron your hair when going out, not for daily routines.

My mom used to do it when she was growing up. Any kind of heat styling is going to damage your hair, what ever you decide to do try using a heat protecant and a good weeklu deep conditioner. If seemd like using a clothes iron could lead to other injuries if your not careful, so be careful, besides it's not made for hair and not coated with anything so I would expect it to damage your hair more then a straightening iron would.

With a iron you use for clothes?
YES its not good, it will fry your hair. Since you have been doing this does your hair look dull and dead? Its because the iron is damaging your hair. If you are going to continue this I suggest you buy some heat protector for you hair.

Yes, try using a good quality flat iron (designed for hair) instead. Make sure you put a specially designed hair product on first to protect it, there are several on the market. I used to iron my hair (back in the Twiggy days) and it really damaged it. (Twiggy, sheesh, guess that tells you how old I am!)

Yeah, um, I'd stop doing that.
I think a hair straightener is too damaging. A clothes iron sound even worse.
Try rolling your hair in REALLY BIG rollers. The Bigger they are the straighter your hair will be. Kind of ironic that rollers will make your hair straighter. lol

It could be very bad for your hair. Your hair could probably fall out more easily i suggest you just get a flat iron it would be better.

yes it is bad for you to iron your hair with a real clothes iron...they have these straighteners now that you can buy and they really work...my daughter-in-law used it on my hair once and it was perfectly straight..i do not really know how good they are for your hair but her hair does not look damaged...but i know i just blow dry my hair daily and it shows damage...i always seem to have so many dead ends...so i would really think about getting a straightener....
