Is there a library, nearby? There are wonderful, enlightening self-help - and other genre - books, which you can read, or listen to, on a CD player, if you prefer. Dr. Wayne Dyer is great. Stephen Covey is awesome. Also, there is a great book, entitled "The Purpose Driven Life," which helped many people I know. Can't remember the author, offhand - Philip, something, I believe.....Are you serious, when you call yourself a "jerk?" That's not a good way to feel or speak of yourself. The fact that you wish to improve yourself gives testimony to the fact that you are NOT a jerk, but an introspective person. Don't be so hard on yourself. Be well.

Buy a dog..and kick it when you come home from work. Always makes me feel better.

Or..join a boxing gym and only fight women...you'll rack up wins and feel great about yourself.
