Because Christianity is real; Paganism is fantasy.

The Catholic church converted Pagan by the sword. Period. The ones that did not convert or pretended to convert were put to death. There is even a book written by a 14th century German Bishop called the Mallious Mallificarum. The was the handbook by which to destroy Pagan beliefs through out Europe for over 400 years.

I would NEVER GO BACK...I was not meant to be Christian, it was what my Mom wanted me to be because she was pushed into it, but before she died she returned to the PAGAN side!
YA!
BUT those damn Mormons have her on a list, and DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DO WITH THE LIST???
They baptize the dead!
That is right if you are on their list they will baptize you like it or not, and do temple marriages by PROXY, using a stand in for you as they do with baptism.
They are so desperate to GET EVERYONE they will do this after you die, so IF you CHANGE your mind when you die you will be SAVED! Saved in the spirit world as a MORMON!
As far as OTHER Christians they are damn pushy too maybe some Pagans are weak maybe some are forced by parents and peers to be Christian.

BIZZARO!

Jesus never forced anyone to believe in him. Back in the beginning of christiannity, the romans used to kill christians, had them eaten alive by lions, burned at the stake and tortured untill death! Néron even had rome set in a blazing fire and accused the christians, whom were innocent pacifists and did nothing of the sort.

Now, later on, the romans created the catholic church to have political power over these meek pacifists, (early christians).
rome's power trip went as far as forcing the people of the lands they tried to conqueer to believe. Wich is very wrong, and wich is something Jesus never said to do. He said to preach but not to force, besides it is written "you shall not kill" The roman catholic church did their inquisition thing on pagans, wich is an abomination of bloddy murder.
They did exactly the same crime againts the first christians as they did to the pagans.

They seduced some of them also, by using Mary as a replacement of pagan godesses. wich is an abomination to God. They created their empire built on lies, deciet and murder!
Jesus does'nt approve of these things, he never forced anyone! The truth is the only thing that can set you free!

Many Christians are leaving Christianity for neo-Paganism. By the way, the Christians did not invent religious persecution. Rome did it, too. They did it to Heathens, and Christians alike.

Well they did't want to, they were forced and the ones who refused were burned at the stake. Christians did this a lot (to jews and native americans, for instance) and i think still do today. Except rather then physical pain its psychological pain, and brain washing.

When will people realize!? A Christian is a person who has accepted Jesus Christ as there personal savior, and is now trying to live like him. If we kill lie and steal and pursecute people we aren't Christians, we're hypocrites. The people who did these things were not Christians.

Most Modern Christians view their religion as pure as the pastors they follow tell them it is. There are very few that I have EVER met that has actually done any kind of research into the history of their religion.

Christianity needed a good story and a good story fast the rest is his-story.

There was also the economic thing. I mean, with a dozen gods you've got hordes of priests and such asking for money. With Christianity you just make one simple payment. Even Verizon understands that.

I suppose you'd have to ask the individual pagans.
