I think that my two year old may be slightly color blind. Mostly it is him mixing up blue and green. he consistently can tell the difference between red and yellow and pinks, and white and black, but when I show him blue and green side by side he just looks at me as if I'm stupid.

It is possible that he may have color blindness. I found a couple of tests on line where there are dots of all colors and if you can't see the numbers that are formed by the dots than you may be color blind. Some of them, if you can see the number than you may be color blind. Maybe you should have him take a look. Most people who have colorblindness cannot distinguish between red and green, but I guess it is possible to not be able to tell blue and green apart.

Yes there is, take a blind fold, cut out one eye, and ask what do they see. then switch eyes, and ask the same question.

determine what the answers is by them providing the information to you. Now this may not correct the problem or even determine if there color blind, but it will allow them to appricate that they can "SEE".

Yes, my husband just had it done by his optomitrist. He was the worse case they had ever seen, and he had no idea!!!!!

ps, they dont make him name the colors, they just see if he can even see anything because they use different color dots. My husband saw nothing, so they knew he was color blind.
