To suggest that the reward of heaven–the ultimate gift of salvation–will be provided to unrepentant, unregenerate man … is ludicrous in its concept, lethal in its effect, and contrary to both the content and intent of the Bible.

Daniel implied that I want to go to heaven because of FEAR of retribution. I don't! I want to go to heaven because of the longing for Jesus. You know...for those who understand, you keep reading the Bible as a love letter from Jesus. You keep reading this love letter as much as you can to grasp it and get a glimpse of the One who loves you like that, but it comes a time when you just want to be with that Person. The letter is not enough anymore. This is the way I look at it. I cannot describe this longing for Him. Only those who are in one embrace with Him understand what this means. You know...heaven is the narrowest place that can be. Only those who become one with Him can get there. Hidden in Christ!

Wow! I came across your question and had to do some research on Carlton Pearson. I spent some time Tulsa a few years back and I heard of him and saw him on television. He really has lost it hasn't he? He has really gone off the deep end. It's sad when those who were considered men of God start writing their own doctrine, makes you wonder what he's hiding that would make him write his own way to heaven.

You have some nice points, but in regard to Carlton Pearson, he is an out and out HERETIC.. He espouses a heresy called inclusivism or what some call universalism whereby God will save EVERY person, even the impenitent ones. This is not the message of the Bible. God will save only those to humbly and repentantly come to Him believing Him to be the Son of God, come in the flesh in the incarnation, crucified, buried, and risen from the dead as the only propitiation for mans sins.

So exactly WHAT is your question?
Or, did you just want a platform to spout out your own, limited theology?

I know the Bishop Pearson.
He is a good man...and he has only a part of the answer, as do we all.
No one knows for sure what the final word is on God, on Jesus, on Allah, on Buddha or any other various deities rooted in the worlds religions.
Hopefully, we'll all find out in the end.

For me, I find Judaism as the way to worship God and to help people here on earth.
For you, it appears that only Jesus is the way.
Fine - just respect the fact that other people don't believe as you do...and don't try to force your beliefs on others.

Below is the link to Pearsons' website.
Go, study, learn and then make your own decision.
After all, God gave us free will to choose.
I just hope to God that people like you don't take away that freedom.

What a lousy Christ you have if he sends ANYONE to Hell! Hell is infinite punishment, and no one is infinitely evil. And sending them for "not believing in him"? How stupid! If he wants us to believe in him, then show up, rather than play hide 'n' seek in the sky!

And the Bible is NOT from Jesus. The Old Testament was written by several old-time Jews, and the New Testament was written by Gentiles who never met the guy. Stop regurgitating what you were taught in Sunday School. You were brainwashed. And you can't brainwash US!

I agree on several counts

Who in the world gets thrown in the lake of fire, Carlton, those whose names are not written in the lambs book of life... how clear can that be... and who is outside the new Jerusalem... the unsaved.. the end of the book makes it pretty clear... who is inside? those whose robes are washed int he blood of th elamb

James says 'perfect love casts out fear he who fears is not perfected in love' so I agree that fear of punishment might restrain a person but is not enough to get them to heaven

I agree that those who are saved will treasure Christ
