Yes it was. Apparently it was also predictable and that is why in the Bible it says that God said his spirit would not abide with man but for 120 years. So he predicted that in 120 years the flood would come. this is when the polar ice caps melted, slipped off into the ocean and created a huge tsunami that flooded the region. Just in case someone is going to say that this meant that god would only allow man to live to be 120 years old after the flood, this is not true. Noah, his son's and his son's son's all lived to be over 200 years old after the flood.

Who was it that predicted it? I assume it was the Sumerian god (Enlil) of the Annaunki who was upset about the other Annaunki or the sons of god (Annaunki means "those who from heaven to earth came"), cross breeding with the human women or the daughters of men and having giant offspring . He was happy because he knew that in 120 years the flood would come and kill mankind and then the Annaunki could no longer mate with the human women. However, the Annuanki and their giant offspring survived the flood because they orbited the planet in the spaceships until the waters reascended, since they were ancient alien astronauts.

I personally believe this is time when the entire dinosaur’s race dies out as they might be too big to enter the ark. God had unleashed the flood to destroy all things only Noah Ark will not be destroyed. Thus it could be one of the possible ending to dino era.
The ark is made of wood, I think it will have already decompose so it cant really last so long only if God want it to last than through him let it be preserve. All those people who said they found it are either a hoax or a lie to attract attention some are just pure imagination.
>>> I always though that bible timeline is a bit faster compare to the timeline we human have. So the dino part may just fit.

No, the earth had never seen rain before and was likened to living inside a terrarium. Weather was constant and so was temperature.

There was a mist that would come up from the ground to water the ground and a firmament of water above the sky and below heaven.

When the flood waters were released, they came up from the ground and rushed down from the sky. It was fast and powerful and nothing like it will ever happen again, because God said he would never destroy like this again.

A rainbow was seen for the first time ever, after the flood waters receeded, and this was our sign of that promise.

All icebergs and such were created after the flood, when the atmosphere changed on different parts of the earth. We now have minor floods, and all kinds of different storms to deal with.

Its not a myth but actual fact. Until then, the earth as we now know it has in a terrarium environment. Evidence shows that the Ark still exist and can be found on Mt. Ararat; which was a part of Armenia, until the Turks evaded. In addition; geologist are still finding seashells in places around the world far from any oceans. Icebergs or glaciers didn't exist at the time of the great flood.

Scientists have certainly chanced on lots data of a brilliant flood, in certainty 2 super floods the two happening interior of a couple of minutes (geologically) of another. the two the Black Sea and the pink Sea have been as quickly as lush valleys the place early civilization thrived. regrettably, as a results of fact the point of the oceans rose (persevering with end of the final ice age) the sub sea point valleys have been unexpectedly flooded with the aid of a brilliant rush of ocean water. it is, additionally, possibly that those valleys have been an Eden the place human beings ought to proceed to exist with out desire of cultivation. As human beings began to bypass onto the plains the place they might strengthen grain extra effectively, no longer purely did they convey genuine civilization in addition they escaped the disaster of the flood.

how much proof do you want if i were you id take a look at the work of scientist Kent Hogan's work he has alot of work put into proving the Bible and the stories of the bible. also remember that the bible was written by the hand of man as an account of what they believed god was saying to them. alot of it is accurate and some of it has been changed to suit the mind of men and kings. so take new age translations with a grain of salt man. but yeah thats a good question man.

No. It was fictional. It didn't happen. If it had happened, there would be no trees, and we would still be a flooded planet.
