I am welcome in my friends church and they know I dont believe
.I am invited every week .
They are truly what Christianity is about
I respect them and they respect me.
I work with these people voluntarily to help the less fortunate in our area at least once a week.

When in a Catholic Church, only those who are actually Catholic may receive communion. The reason is that Catholics believe that the bread and wine used in Communion are Jesus Christ. It is not denying others of Christ, but it is the principal of taking something that you do not believe. If someone wants to take Communion, they can take classes and take the other Sacraments leading up to Holy Communion. Most other Christian religions believe that Communion is a symbol of Christ, and not actually Jesus.
If an adult would like to participate in Catholic Holy Communion, then they should attend classes, and receive the Sacrament of Penance. No one should take Communion without having their first Penance first. The Sacrament of Penance is also commonly referred to as confession.

Why do you want to go to church if you dont believe in God?
Mabe you believe a little, somewhere in a corner of your heart of hearts... Look deep inside your heart of hearts. Talk to God, ask and you shall recieve an answer. Open your heart and you'll see the important thing is not if christians let you in their church, but if you let Jesus in your heart!
Ask for a sing of God's existence, secretely in your heart. You'll see.
I'm sorry to say this, but most catholics do and believe a lot of things that are not even in the bible! Sorry, but true!
Nowhere in the bible is it stated to pray to Mary or any "saints". There are Idols in the catholic church, statues, rosaries, etc. Stuff that is an abomination to God!
Sorry but true. I will speak the truth and that's it!
There is no such thing as a pope in the bible!
Christianity has its roots in judaism, the Holy scriptures! Jesus is a jew! The Messiah! The Reedemmer!
Now the Lord's supper is supposed to be taken only if you believe he has redeemed you trough his sacrifice on the cross. Bread representing his body and the wine his blood.
At another level it also represents the body of the church, I dont mean the catholic church or any other church, Its the believers in Christ whom are the church. That is why it is not recommended to take the Lord's supper if you have something againts your brother.
I hope enough light was shed to answer your question.
God bless you!

When I went to a church one sunday, dressed like I normally do (which is slightly gothy) inquiring about the whole thing. Everyone was giving me dirty looks and no one wanted to talk to me or sit next to me.
You cant judge a religion because there are some people out there that are snooty. After that I found some "christians" that were really nice and helped me understand about everything. Christians are supposed to love, respect, and welcome everyone regardless of their beliefs, cultures, or sexual orientations. Dont let a few christians ruin God for you, cause its not his fault. Church might not be for everyone though. I dont go to church because its really hard to find one without very many politics.

why do you which to be accepted by someone that has different ideas as well different believes of what you have???, Don't you think that if you can accept your own self as you are, you can be welcome every were, you need to be welcome?, that is your freedom?, how can I be accepted by someone if I am not ready to accept my own?, self?, convenience?, believed?, desires? needs? the question is can you accept your own self as you are?, can God accept you?, go to HIM< and don't worry about what others Humans think? hopefully you can find your self and what you really needs are, whit-out the influences of others or care for what other may think, wen it comes to God, we need to first find the answers within our own selves, and within our own heart? Good luck ! and if you which to take holly Communion the only think I can tell you is, that a A Catholic God has command my self to tell you that if you aren't a Catholic taking Communion in sin and without been part of the Church, can be negative to you.
after what there is your own choice. believed me. your experience can be only of your own. Communion is only for believers, and the consumption of the body of Jesus, its and steal is a sacrament. To which I can only say don't you think that good manners count also in religion?, so if you which to do something why not respect the rules? and for the last remember Satan, Evil, the beast, mog, and mongers, are Lurking in the deepest darkness, perhaps of your own dark and private Though.! Stay safe. follow your own commond senses, and use good reasoning.

Un-believers are the reason for Church. The main goal is to taech about Jesus. My Church is so open. People come in with Sean John clothing, Metallica shirts. We are known as the druggie Church, because we xcater to the unbelievers looking to answers to the hardest questions. We welcome erverybody.
My neighbor asked me what Church I go to, and he told me its way different than the Catholic Church he went to. Church is not a building, but a group of people wanting to spread the word of God. My Church plays loud rock music (about God of course) has black walls, and you can wear whatever you want. We have people coming in bathing suits who come in before they hit the beach on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
So, come in brother!

They should... we did in my day as a member of the church committee... well... I did... some thought I was wrong... because I brought eighty people in, who never went to church before and never believed in god before. Mostly kids and teens and some parents.
We were non denominational... Christians without man made 'religion' telling us how to worship... merely following Christ's teachings.
Jesus had no church in the end... his own disowned Him and all his work, was done outside the church, as is mine today.
I'll only say this once in here... because of all the christian bashers... I was ordained four years ago as a minister (Rev)... and I made a vow privately to God to do my ministry through writing, in a down to earth way;-)
God Bless

Yes they will, go to a Baptist, Methodist, Anglican, EV Free, CMA, Salvation Army, Pentecostal church. When I became a follower of Jesus, I didn't go to church for almost a year because I felt I needed to be invited, but didn't know any church people. Since then I have learned that churches are very receptive to guests.

Can only answer your question from my own life experience. I have walked into many houses of worship, Christian and Non -Christian. Not once was I ever escorted out the door because of not being of that faith. A few have tried to convert me, but the point is they welcomed me, spoke to me after their services and were happy to answer questions I may have had. Always invited me back weather I chose to join or not

It is not up to the 'Christians'--and 'You' are already the 'Church' to which you are inquiring to be welcomed to--belief in God is not a requirement to be welcomed into a building although it might be helpful to you in order to understand your reason for going...
