I reject the premise of the question, it assumes a God and a Devil.
But the riddle could be posed without both, so the answer is "Nothing". But if we went on the premise of your question, that both a God and a Devil exist, then it would stand to reason that the rich would need God.
But according to the question posed and the answer given, the rich need nothing, if this is true, then the question also rests, paradoxically, on the premise that the rich don't need God.

"Nothing" seems like the correct answer, but some poor people have a few things and the rich need stuff that money can't buy. Great riddle though!
