I do it myself .it is a little of both I feel. I talk to myself when I am alone to hear a voice and I talk to myself when I am angry so that my family will understand that this is not a good time to talk to me. And believe me Iam left alone. I also talk to myself when I am on the phone on hold just in case the call is being recorded (you can monitor a call while on hold) when someone gets to the phone they will think I am crazy and just give me the right answer right away.

I think it is normal. I had a physcology class that said it was normal. But if someone catches you they might think you are crazy. But of course that person probobly dosn't right? I say cuss words to my self all the time.

It is very normal to talk to yourself. We all carry on "conversation" in our heads. It's called thinking. As long as your not responding to someone who is really not there (hallucinations).

Its normal - a simple way to vent out suppressed feelings / frustration. As long as is not serious (hallucinations) its perfectly ok
