I am really good friends with this one girl I know. She shares her deepest secrets with me, and she tells me about what kind of guy she is looking for (seems perhaps like me). She always seems interested in what I am doing. She imitates some of things I do sometimes. When we are alone, we always talk about relationships, dreams, goals, or other deep topics, and we always talk alone for long periods of time until the conversation must be ended. Does it seem possible?

Absolutely, why not bring up the topic of your friendship and ask her if she has ever considered you as "the guy" for her.

It seems possible. But is this something that both of you guys want? Speak to her and ask her how she feels on taking things to the next level. Be sure to tell her that she is not obliged to reflect your feelings. If she wants to stay friends then respect that. But other wise you just got to stick it out until she realises that you are the perfect man that she has been looking for all long. The key is patience as she will come to realise this in her own time.

Girls hang around guys they like. If you give her the attention she is looking for, you might find happiness. Just make sure that you both are on the same page as far as expectations in the relationship...is it a fling or long term commitment? Be honest with yourself and her as well. anything is possible. sounds like you have a good thing going. if you want to, i suggest the next time she starts talking about the kind of guy she's looking for, and it sounds like it could be you, start talking about the girl you want, making it sound like her. be subtle, be coy. she'll get the hint. if she doesn't wait until the end of the conversation, or close to it, and just lean in to her. in a real soft voice, say to her, you know that perfect girl? when she says yeah, dart in real quick for a fast kiss on the lips, just a quickie, and then whisper...i found her. smile at her, and go on with your business. the next time you see her, ask her out.

It could be possible, that she is trying to let you know that she likes you and is not comfortable saying it straight out.
I would just casually ask her if she would like to start dating.
Then if not, then she finds comfort with you and wants you as a close friend that she can talk to.

Yes and no. Maybe she is like that with a lot of her friends or maybe not. If you like her I think that you should talk to her about it and ask her if she thinks the same. And if you don't like her then I think that you should just ask her. but if you don't feel comfortable talking about her then you shouldn't. Do whatever you feel comfortable with.

it's possible!! lovers begin to friendships. if she's so interested to you, that maybe a sign. if you have this feelings for her that you want your friendship turn to lovers (bf/gf) then you probably ask her. but then be ready for any consequences after doing any move.
