I've met someone while I was away, (a friend of a friend) only spent a few evenings with him but we chatted for hours.
Have come back home and we have texted all the time, I think he is a wicked person and we have loads in common and get on great. Not sure whats going to happen next??

It rather depends on what you want to happen, not only you but him as well! OK you've only just met, you text each other all the time and you seem to have lots in common but that's it!
Do you live nearby? If so see if he suggests meeting you. He might well do that and if he does ... Then take it from there. You don't really know him you see! So don't let him be the only thing in your mind! Show him that, and indeed you like him, but! You are your own person, have your own life, otherwise he might think you're getting a little too enamoured with him and give you the elbow!
So be patient! Don't push him and enjoy your texts! It's better that way! You get to know each other a bit better and all being well he'll probably ask you out.

Usually meeting new people are always a kick. Just go with the flow and enjoy whatever you seem to have together. If it continues, then great........If it doesnt, it's no big deal. It's all a part of life's experiences that make you who you are.

You are trying to read too much from this. Take it easy and go with the flow. Don't be too hasty in giving your love away as we don't want that tender heart of yours broken unnecessarily, now do we? If you want to know how he feels about you, ask him. Be sure to tell him honestly how you feel about him too. That way you won't be getting mixed signals and getting everything twisted.

Just see how things go, that's all you can do. If you've got MSN and a webcam, talk to him via that as at least you'll be able to see each other over it.

wait and see. if you want something to happen and think you can make a long distance relationship work, then go for it. (I presume it is long distance, as you have said 'away')
It is tough to make it work, but give it a go if you really like him and think he is worth it!
