Nope, as the service was fully provided to you, you should pay, probably including the fines.
You could have had him correct your hair cut or summon him for a free hair cut at a later stage but walking out without paying, even if you were angry and discontent doesn't bear fruit in this society. The court will make you pay in two seconds.

Good luck

No way!!!!!!! He is taking you to court for a hair cut.... He's got nothing to do... Alot of time on his hands... Yes tell the judge that you were not satisfied. Dont tell him you ran out, because that is theft... but tell him you told the barber that you did not like it and refused to pay him and left..... You know a cituation like this can make someone depressed when you are walking around with a hair due you dont like. Keep your head up high... you be fine. I hope you took pictures of the messed up job he did...

I dont think that will really hold up in a court of law.
I walked out on someone who cut my hair the wrong way and they didnt do anything about it.

Just tell them that you werent happy with it. You shouldnt have run out, I know a bad haircut can be a very emotional thing.

i had really long hair and the lady chopped it off so I had a pixie cut. I cried for weeks.

No you needed to confront the barber at the time of the cut. You received goods or services. You will have to pay the barber either way. Don't let it get to court, you will have to pay court costs also. Just go pay the barber and he will drop the case.

Doubtful. What you did is called 'theft of services' and you can certainly be prosecuted for it.
You'll be responsible for the court costs too probably.
In the future, if you don't like the style you should talk to the barber and explain why you aren't happy, so that he can try to accomodate you. Running out without paying is wrong.

no. You should have complained about the haircut to the barber. He might have let you get a discount later. You will now end up paying for the haircut plus court costs. And other charges could be added to you.

Assalamu-Alaykum
What you did was really very silly Tariq but you could ask the barber to settle out of court with interest added and be sure that he gives you a receipt for your payment.

Nope. You will most likely have to pay for the haircut and his court costs. It would have been cheaper to just pay for the hair cut.

Umm. Running out wasn't such a good idea. If you had informed him that you were going to take this matter to court, you MAY have had a chance. I'm no expert, but you'll probably end up paying for your $XXX haircut.

Emergency? Please.

What the hell did you think would happen if you didn't pay for a service you received? Just talk to the guy and see if you can just pay him and skip the legal battle.

[Are you serious? Emergency! Ha!]
