I know there are planes with wingspans longer than that first flight, and it's likely the B-52 is one of them. I'll say false.

False... the distance of the first flight flight flown by Orville was 120ft., and I do believe that the wingspan of a B-52 is longer than that... much longer. Heh heh.
So, False is my final answer.

False :- On Dec 17th 1903 the wright brothers first successful
recorded flight was 120ft .
A b52s wing span is 185ft therefore the answer to the question is false.
Hope this helps !

False. We have a piece of artwork here in Dayton that shows the exact length of the flight. You can drive past it doing 35 mph in less than 4 seconds.
