U could start off by walking for at least 30 minutes a day, at a moderate pace. Then slowly increase it to about 45 minutes a day, maybe 4 days a week. Now the hard part is eating. Try to get your parents to buy u some lean cuisine meals. U will need approximately 10 a week. Have these meals for either your school lunch and/or your dinner at home. They taste good. Try to monitor your calorie intake while reducing sodas, try crystal light ( add one packet to a 16.9 f oz bottle of water). Try to look at CALORIC intake and eat around 1200- 1500 calories a day and never eat 2 hours b 4 u will go to bed. As for junk food, u r 15 and if I was u I would eat maybe those miniature bag of chips, also South Beach has a few products u could purchase like cupcakes and things of that nature. U could also join some activity at school, if u have track at school, that would b great. Ask your coach if u could train with them even if u do not get to run. U may have to take CRAP from kids but in the long run u will b the winner. Add your height to the details and I will check back to tell u how much u can lose by following this plan.

Join a gym and go every other day for at least 30 minutes. Ask about exercises and equipment that will work your "problem areas".
Don't starve yourself- that never works. Just eat healthy (avoid fried foods and always skip dessert). Start packing your own lunch b/c school lunches suck. bring carrot and celery sticks (a little ranch dressing is okay too), canned tuna in water, crackers, water bottle, and a piece of fruit. Don't go on one of those strict- no bread or no meat or no nothing diets- they DO NOT work!
oh, and every once in awhile, have some ice-cream or a brownie (but don't go overboard).
good luck- email me and let me know if you make any progress!

Do crunches (forward, reverse, and side) to tighten your tummy...there are leg lifts you can do for your legs...also take up walking (briskly) and hold in your stomach when you walk...you'll work all those muscles plus get the benefit of burning calories so you can lose weight...
Don't worry so much about dieting, as just eating better...eat reasonable sized portions of foods...no second helpings...and stay away from junk food and fast food...eat healthy and save the other stuff as an occasional 'treat'...
Good luck!

Exercise, walk a lot. Do chores- believe me, that will get your blood rolling! Drink lots of water
Don't drink soda. Don't eat junk food. Don't get seconds.
Ask your mom to keep lots of fruit and veggies around for you to snack on: Bugs Bunny had the right idea with always munching on that carrot stick!
And if you want sweets, try substituting half the flour in your recipes for oat bran. That's whay I did with my brownies, and my taste buds didn't know the difference.
15 is still young enough to stretch out the weight.
Good luck!

a lot of people wiegh a little more than they need to. so dont worry that you are the only one, now dont go on one of those carzy diets , that dont let you eat anything but an apple, because that doesnt work , u will starve to death, what you need to do it sign up for some sports, you need exersize, and try doing 15 push ups, 15 sit uos, 100 jumping jacks every morning and evening.
now u still need to eat healthy, you need to eat 3 fruits a day, at least 2 vegetables, you need to eat meet, u can still eat some junk food like a bag of chips every day , so stay healthy and good luck

Decrease the sugars, fats, and late night snack. Increase the veggies, fruits, and water. Also start the situps, pushups, and some joggin/running. If you find yourself at the fast food joint, get the salad with fat free dressing with fruit and water. munch on carrots not chips. Take your time, you will see results with in 4 weeks. Nothing wrong with wanting to be healthier and tone. Just make sure this is what u want for you anot for some external reason(i.e. comparing yourself to your peers and MTV)

Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.
But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.
So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Remember the above (not on site) and see site below to re-learn how to eat so you can be thin and fit for life.
Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

At 15 years old, you are still growing.
Eat better, healthier foods. Exercise daily. Continue this for your entire life.
You will be healthy and fit. What size you end up is irrelevant.
Keep smiling!
