yet they are having sharp pains in their chest and the next morning their stomache feels bad and they can't eat anything should they be worried? She can't go to the doctor and if she told her parents they wouldn't care what should she do? Should she just wait it out and let it try to pass over or what? She is my best friend and I tried to stay up with her as long as I could last night to keep her awake but this morning she feels horrible. She was so scared and she was crying so badly. She said that it wasn't her time to go and that she would fight the piles and so far she has but now she can't eat because her stomache is killing her. Can you please help me so I can help her? I love her so much I can't lose her!

Her stomach is likely bleeding, She was partially successful in here attempt. How much and what did she take, if it takes more than a day to recover then she has poisoned herself by effectively OD'ing without dying. The effects could be long or short term, Campbell's chicken soup and tomato soup might be the answer.

Also she needs to be calm no matter how but it hurt or she will elevate her heart beat which is bad right now.

When a person tries to OD, it is very serious. The sharp pains and the sickness that she is experiencing are mostly due to the fact that she had an overdose of some drug in her system, and that is the bodies response system to getting it out. Also, she(the medicine more specifically) could have slightly poisoned her, and the sickness is due to that. If she is unable to go to the doctor and tell anyone but you, than there is only one possibility: she should wait things out and see what happens. However, if she attempted to kill herself, that does show a sign of mental instability, which is a very bad thing, possibly allowing her to try it again if something isn't done. Oh, by the way, it is no surprise that she can not eat because her stomach is killing her because that is the way it is. Had she gone to the hospital, they would have pumped her stomach out, and she would be hungry but still unable to eat because she would be in pain. What i would be worried most about is some sort of poisoning getting into her system that slowly shuts down certain parts(particularly if it has already reached those parts, such as kidneys, heart, brain, etc). She will probably end up being okay, you just need to stick it out with her, and get her to eat something later on in the day so that her body will not be using the poisoned medicine as an energy source, but rather the good food. she should end up being okay in the long run, but you need to keep an eye on her, and make sure that she isn't fading away, otherwise a hospital visit is absolutely necessary..................

The best advice I can give is to call for an ambulance, explain everything you have said here to the operator so the medical team know exactly what they are dealing with on arrival. If you are from the UK you can also call the freephone NHS direct line number (see link below) for advice:

Its best to sort out her physical health first and then they will have to deal with her pyschological state - she will need counselling/therapy and a strong unit of support from friends and family. It doesn't sound like she has much support from her family but you are there for her and must continue to be. Hope this has helped.

Well she really needs to go to the hospital. Overdosing on certain medication can cause, liver or kidney failure. It can cause strokes and heart attacks depending on the medication. Just keeping a person awake is not always enough. She needs to have a stomach pumped and sometimes counteracting drugs are needed. If you don't want to lose your friend take her to the hospital because you just might lose her if you don't. NOW!!!

Your only choice here is to take her to the ER. She could still die from this, you don't want to play around with this at all. She could have bleeding in her stomach or something. If you truly do not want to lose her and if she truly does not want to die, then the ER is your only choice.

Please - if her parents don't care - then what is the problem about going to the doctor? I suggest you hop to it and get to the doctor. Sounds like she has more then physical things to worry about. She needs to address her mental health too. Do it now.

If you love her then take her to the hospital.. just because the OD didn't kill her the way you think... it could cause her harm that would be worse than death.. take her.
