I totally agree with you.......I'm half Mexican myself and my father's family came here and worked very hard to become productive citizens. My grandfather raised 14 children...all of his sons served our country in the military and he even lost some.
I am a direct descendant of Hernan Cortes the conquistador, and am a descendant of Montezuma....I am well educated, productive and successful.....yet, to most people I am just a dirty wet*back.
This country was founded on freedom to live the American dream....I like how now immigration, which gave rise to this nation is now a "problem".
I don't know what's worse....the racism or the back woods people who think because of the color of their skin, they are above all.
I bet some of these "true-blue white Americans" could not even pass the test for citizenship.
The worst of it is in the south........as my mother inlaw says.."the trouble with mexicans is........"
SHUT UP! cracker, do you not see me standing right here?
thank you for a resolution I can finally agree with.

Hey how about you shut up and actually learn what racism means you anti-American, weak minded twit.
Funny how a lack of backbone and hatred of all that is good + decent makes people want to set aside law + order just so they get the chance to call others racist since deep down they are ugly, racist monsters.
If you truly believe people should be able to cross the border whenever they want with no control at all in any way then let them move into your house and then if they are terrorists sneaking bombs into the country you can share the guilt for any harm they cause.
I personally would like to have immigration into USA but I think it would be nice to have some control over it and not encourage people to come over illegally and then demand I change my society to suit their wants. I guess I just have an aversion against bringing weapons, diseases, armies into my country that would be harmful to it's citizens.
It's people like you that make me wish the planet Jupiter would crash into the Earth.

I've got four solutions:
1. Apply for citizenship and find a sponsor family.
2. Stay on the basis of the work/visit program.
3. Join the Unites States Armed Forces and earn your citizenship.
4. Go back to Mexico and the next time you come across illegally, go straight to jail.

I don't see it as "racism", although I am sure they are there. I have no problem with someone wanting to improve their economic situation for themselves and their families, I applaud it. The problem, as I feel, is in your statement, illegal, you seem to think that laws are made for some and not for others. Immigration does need some improvement, no argument. Go vote and get it changed with your candidate. Read your statement, you seem to be somewhat of a racist yourself. However I doubt that you will see it that way. After all, you are right and EVERYONE else is wrong that do not have your opinion. Without law we have nothing.

Actually, from personal experience the only uneducated person is you. Illegal immigration is a proble. Of course, our immigration policies need to change. I'm not a racist in any sense of the word. I'm white and my ex-wife is african-american as is my girlfriend. When I was stationed in San Diego, I dated a chinese, korean, and a hispanic. Where I grew up, I dated a hispanic.
My problem lies with those that break our laws and then expect to be treated like outstanding citizens. They expect the same treatment as a citizen born and raised here. Or came here legally.

Here's a better solution for you and your ilk. You pay %100 of the costs for illegal and YOU shut the hell up. You OBVIOUSLY have no clue as to the fact on illegal immigration and it's impacts on Crime, Society, Wages, Government provided services etc...
You imply being anti-illegal is racist, this demonstrates your ignorance again. Please explain how someone wanting the laws of this land enforced is "racist", using your lack of logic every nation in the world is racist then since all at least try to enforce their laws. Additionally you show your ignorance by implying that illegals (specifically from our southern border) are of another race. Being Mexican, Guatemalan, Honduran etc.... isn't a "race"
there is no Hispanic race.

Why is it when someone doesn't share your rosy view of "illegals" they need to shut up ,being against any illegal act isn't racism its being a law abiding American.
I am not a "red neck" nor am I "under" educated like you .
I am a person that sees the reality of a situation that needs to be addressed in a legal forum,as long as it is illegal for anyone to cross our borders without legal documentation,I will oppose it as the criminal act it is.

My Mexican friend tried to get her niece into America to live with her and her husband because she was being sexually abused by family in Mexico. They went the legal route and guess what, they weren't allowed to keep her.
The problem isn't "immigrants"; America has always welcomed immigrants. The problem is "illegal immigration" which brings people into the country too quickly and puts too great a burden on the society at one time. Before you continue to abuse everyone in America who disagrees with you I suggest you read a book called "Men in Black". And no, it's not about Tommy Lee Jones.

So, since I don't want unknown people sneaking into my country illegally, I'm a racist, retarded, redneck?
I'm glad to see that at least you've taken the high road on the subject...

Really? Please inform us oh enlightened one.... I won't hold my breath for a logical argument from your side. You would like to be able to censor your opposition wouldn't you? How about you make me shut up, by giving me something to agree with you on? I am not a racist, and as soon as someone can prove to me that the illegal aliens are not breaking the law, I will be more than happy to join your side. Until then, I disagree with you.
