I dont trust these artificial sweeteners because of all the bad crap I hear about them. What is the nutritionally best form of natural sweetener? White sugar? Brown sugar? Honey? I also see that things like fructose are coming out. Ive also heard bad things about white sugar too.

Actually honey is the best of what you mentioned. However, molasses and pure maple syrup are slower burning (glycemic wise) than honey. The best sweetener I have found by far is Agave. It is very slow burning so it is recommended for people with diabetes or diabetic borderlines. I use it in my coffee every morning and it has no weird after taste and my husband can't tell the difference between that and sugar.
If you must have sugar (like if you are baking something), look for
raw sugar. It has not been as processed as the white.
Definitely stay away from the "packet" sweeteners.

You should check into stevia. It's an extremely sweet herb that's been used as a sweetener in South America for centuries. You can get it at health food stores in little packets (like Equal or Splenda). The flavor takes some getting used to, but it's calorie-free and supposedly better for you than artificial sweeteners. The FDA hasn't approved it as a sweetener, though.

I understand from reading up on nutrition that raw unheated honey is best. If you want to keep your blood sugar even then fructose is probably best choice. I find honey has same effect on my blood sugar as white refined sugar.

I've always heard the best stuff about honey...but I don't know in actuality if it's the most healthy (or least unhealthy). Refined sugar is definitely not a good one...raw over refined, if it's a choice between those two...

Avoid white sugar. Honey is good in certain things but I use raw unrefined sugar in coffee.

splenda isn't to bad because its made from sugar. Honey is good, and for baking you can always use applesauce. I like the raw sugar, its the large brown granuals

honey is the best, next best is brown sugar, the browner the better as the less refined it is.
