Okay so one night I hung out with this guy named Mike and he had to go to texas for work the very next day..Mike is still in texas now and wont be coming home until october! i still talk to him..in fact we r now dating, we have been dating for about a week an a half. But it just doesn't feel like it..all of my guy friends ask me why I am dating him and they keep telling me how lame he is!!! Plus someone else likes me...I dont know what to do..should I stay with mike or move on???

How can you be "dating" if he's in Texas and you are not? Do you mean that the two of you have decided to date each other exclusively?
Who cares how many people tell you Mike's "lame", the question is, "Do *you* think Mike's lame?"
Personally, I think it's perfectly appropriate for you to date more than one guy at the same time. You sound like you're not ready to settle on just one guy yet, so let Mike know that you're not ready for an exclusive relationship and date all the guys you like.

One night doesn't seem like a whole lot of time to get to know someone. How can you be dating when he's not around? Does talking on the phone or on internet constitute dating ? And, dating doesn't mean that you can't date other people, actually, it means that You Can Date others. You don't owe him anything, you only know him for a week and a half, so there's nothing to really Not move on for. If you like the guy who likes you, why don't you go out on a date with him? You don't have to commit after one date. If you really are smitten with this Texas Mike man, then keep talking to him until he comes back in October, but is he being loyal to you? What's he really doing on Texas? Who knows.... Move on if you want to, and date around if you feel like going out with someone. Your heart is yours to decide.

do what makes you happy don't let others pick who you be with it's not there life or there happiness if you don't like how things are working out with mike then move on and start seeing other people if you think you and him can work it out then stay with him

move on.. long distance relationships never work and they r to stressful.. u have no idea what he's doing in TX.. the person that likes u that is near u, give him a shot.. u haven't been w/the guy in TX long enough to be even contemplating whether or not u should stay or leave.. when he comes back in oct and ur still alone then kick it then...

Probably seems better than he really is because you didn't spend enough time with him to find out who he really is. If you like someone else who likes you back, it's most likely time to let go of Texas boy.

well if u really like him u shuld stay with him but if u like the guy that likes u more than mike the u shld move on!

If you really like him, and he's coming home soon, and you can stay with him until he comes home you're together again, then stay with him. If you want to move on and try the new guy, then move on. it's your choice.

date both of them.don't hide it though tell both of them and see where it leads. i bet the better man will come out on top.
