I am more free than i used to be. Yet still, at some point it is beneficial to draw some conclusions which can help one to grow in many ways. To be free of all dogma is like being free of all language. Yes, you can do it, but you might as well be eating grass with the cows. Balance is the key. We need to draw back from time to time and assess our beliefs, even the ones we hold dear.

I don't have any addiction to dogma personally. But I can't say I'm totally free from it. In the U.S. dogma is everywhere. A person can't get elected to anything in this country without some kind of stated belief in religion, which translates to theism being pushed on all of us almost all the time. There's even strong evidence to show that fundamentalist Christians are largely taking charge of the domestic and foreign policies of the U.S.

So no, I really don't feel free from dogma of any kind, and it makes me sad.

One definition of dogma in Websters is "something held as an established opinion". So if you use that definition no one could be free from dogma. There are others that pertain to religious beliefs and from that stand point you could say you don't adhere to any dogma. I agree with how you listed it though as being anything from religious to spiritual to scientific. So final answer....depends on how you look at it!

I think a person would have to be in a serious state of denial or mentally troubled not to do be free from any dogman whatsoever. A dogma is a belief. It's innate to human nature to believe in something, even things that could be completely disproved. To believe you are the master of your own destiny is a dogma. So, I would say it's impossible for a human being to not believe in something unless they had some serious mental deficiency/disorder.

I believe all of us are shaped by some beliefs.

Even the statement "I don't believe in anything" is a philosophy or belief
