Yes, definitely! We are His tools, bringing Him to others. I believe that I am following this to the best of my ability, and if God wants me to do more than I already am in this area, then I believe He will reveal it to me when the time is right.

2nd Cor. 5:20 is an implication of Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." and Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost"
And though it isn't exactly my calling to baptize, it is my calling to teach and to defend the faith... and I do it, although I never leave the house to do so, but rather by using the 'net, and since God has given me the gift to easily learn and understand languages, I use that to witness to people in other nations.

I started teaching Gods word in 1981. I don't consider myself an ambassador, just a messenger and a teacher of Gods word.

Yes. Every time I give a fire and brimstone warning as well as everytime I give a nice statement about how people who haven't heard about Christ can be saved if they live rightly and believe in God. There exists a hard edge and a soft edge depending on who you are talking to. You should be used to adjusting your speech.

2Cr 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2Cr 5:21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Yes we try to, are we always successful ? No. No Christian is perfect, Christ alone is perfect and He won perfection for us on the Cross, The Apostle Paul wrote in his 2nd letter to his son Timothy that he had fought the good fight he had finished the race he had kept the faith, He didnt say he won it, Christianity is not about being perfect or winning the race or the fight it is about fighting it. (Iam not talking about it in a physical sense) it is about overcoming and continuing to try, will we fall ? yes, we dust ourselves off repent and continue to try, and not just sit back on our salvation thinking we have a lic to sin and have "fire insurance".

To be honest I am a Christian but I do not feel I am representing the word of God like i should....I think Christians as a whole should make themselves known and stop hiding who they are.

God has changed in such an awesome way, that I KNOW I'm TRYING to be the best I can be. He MAKES me want to be that way--and I KNOW He has blessings in store for me, when I do what He wants me to.
And I TRY because Jesus is in my heart and I KNOW HE gives me the standing power to talk about it and to react with the world.

I think this one is about witnessing our faith through our actions: do we show love and compassion to others, friends and enemies alike? Do we give to those in need? can we overlook the offence of someone and pray for them?
I think this is what Paul was getting at.

Paul is talking to the Corinthians.
But, if you feel the Spirit guiding you, that's great.
