YA.I love my country.I am really proud to be an Indian.
we have a lot to be improved in India.4 that the coming generations have to work hard.that's y
Our President Abdul Kalam requests young children to dream so that we can transform Indian into a developing nation within 2020.
INDIA would be everbody's favo country if we make remarkable changes in the foll:
politics
corruption
transport maintanence
cleanliness of roads
pollution control
And last but not the least, the attitude of Indians.
But Still a mother cannot be hated for some of her defects. So is my motherland. I luv it at any cost however it may be.
HOPE I TOO COULD WORK FOR THE BETTERMENT OF INDIA AND MAKE OTHER NATIONS TO SAY THAT NO COUNTRY IS BETTER THAN INDIA.
JAI HIND.

Media depicts what is bad.. and what is not going right.. media doesnt earn by telling what is good.. if tommorow our news channels start reporting how many govt workers got salaries on time.. how many people going to work on time... how many workers refuse bribes.. and all the good things.. are u really going to pay for it?!
no..
what India is in the media, in reality- it is not!!
and this is the main reason for the fact that despite the corruption, the bad state of the country's environment and infrastruction, illiteracy and everything.. the people of india are the proudest and happiest about their country!
this is because of the unique indian spirit.. we get tired of the endless unfulfilled promises, but what reason is that to hate your country... as someone earlier remarked.. hate the politicians not the country.
agreed these politicians hhave been born in india itself, but not everyone is a politician - a corrupt one!
yes india is loved most dearly by its country men..
otherwise, with so much of corruption and population it wouldnt be makin so much of a difference to the world today!

cyberjunkie!!!!
You notice only bad news in the media! That is your luck! So you go tired and sleep early!!
We Indians livings abroad, watch a lot of good matters like musical programs, debates, some cultural activities, excellent dramas/serials etc that is telecasted from India. Also some news items just understand what is happening in our country. The main thing we worry a lot only mass murder is committed by the terror gangs...
Otherwise, India's economic growth rate is very high and foreign exchange reserves/national wealth are at par with any of the top ranking rich economies.
Universtiy Education is excellent.
The Inddian students can now compete with any internationallly reputed students provided they improve their (Indians) English language expression, usage + vocabulary. Technically they are sound!
Soft ware, Heavy Enginering, Pharmaceutical, Tea/ coffee/ condiments, Costruction, Film/Cinema Industries are fast growing and Indians are recognised any where & every where due to our age old culture of waring Saree, Sindhoor and the ear tops etc.......
An Indian is an Indian where ever s/he lives!!!!!
Indian Culture is not borrowed from any one and readopted!!!
Indian Religions, Languages and Literature are age old and has recognition!
Terorism, seperatism, castism are passing show...
All these will not be hinderance to the growth as Indians know how tackle them. After a simple interval any tragedy is forgotten due to unity in diverstiy!!!!!!!
FROM FAR OFF LAND STILL WE ROAR.....................

To "not believe in politics" is sort of a cop out. Politics control your life, your ability to make a living wage, and where you can send your kids to school.
Better the Devil YOU SEE.
Opting out is..................well, intellectually wimpy.
Its like saying........o.k............I'll be meat.
It is YOUR WORLD.
Know what you believe and be prepared to defend it.
Do I love my Country, oh Hell yes, am I prepared to dendend the actions of this Administration? Oh Hell NO.
Do I still think my particiapation in government is important, oh HELL YES!
We are all in charge of what we believe, some of us are lucky enough to be able to vote on this. Never waste this right, and never diss it. It is huge to protecting individual freedom.
We are all creatures of the same world, it behoves us to try to tollerate each other and live together to create an even better world for our children.
I think we are currently failing at this World Wide. We were redirrected by Media.
Media is OWNED.
Now is the time to gather our own information and compare, and evaluate, and for those that can..........VOTE.

You are not seeing the other side of the coin. Even after all these hurdles INDIA is still producing the ones like APJ, RS Rathod, Vishwanathan Anand etc etc. Our solders are still the same brave bunch. Our officers still lye their life if they find out about the land mafia, petrol adulteration mafia... Our people are still lending their helping hand to strangers in times like 7/11, tsunami, Latur quake ----------.This is enough reason to love my country. I don't want her to change. I just want our politicians to become NETAS not ABHINETAS.

I love my country for its glorious past and for the potential for greatness. No other country had put so much premium on ethics in individual and social life, as this country had. I am still clueless as to where and how we lost our way. There should be a churning within us so as to have a moral and ethical reawakening in ourselves. I am convinced about the said reawakening taking place, not in the distant future.
