If it's the 7.3L, I honestly don't know how you can hear them, that engine is very loud. The best way to search for dash noises is just to feel around when you're driving, sometimes loose molding, loose fasterners, and even the common pocket change can cause some very annoying noises.

too many things for the noise (which you never described anyway)
I've seen the dash rattle against the windshield, the bolts come loose and cause a rattle, the trim on the dash make noise.. the a/c as someone said working normally.... Even heard noises outside make you swear it was the dash.. gotta give more detail... that's why dash rattles and such take a while to get fixed at a dealer for... no one tells the mechanic what the actual noise is...jeez

I am takeing a guess on this, due to you haven't told what kind of noise. But if it is a thud noise from time to time it is the evaporator in the air pleium hitting the case when the a/c compressor kicks in. It is normal on them to do that even though I think that Ford should install some foam inside the case to reduce the noise.
