It depends on what type of puppy you have. For instance if it from a German background think of a german name-like mady. look at its characteristics and think of a name-like if its shy call it jitter or something. If you live in Texas call it a Texan name-like Rowdy, Chigger, Tick, Tex, Ropper.........

give it a rude name so that you can stand in the middle of a park and shout obscenities as loud as you want, with reason!

or give it a gender-opposite name... ie: girl - dave, boy - julie!

aside from butch and rover? lol

Well, how about bella, or corona, or dingo, or retro, or fluffy, or runner, or someting like that?

Then of course, for the little preppy dogs, theirs cottonball, fluffy, tinkerbell, cuddles, tulip, and cute stuff like that!

I like names that are a bit deceiving, like "Killer" for a chawawa(I know the spelling is wrong), or "Gizmo" (my shepherd/rottweiller mix) for a large breed.
