Rosemary oil is really good for concentration. Burn a little on a lamp and it diffuses in the air! I used through all my exams at school! Bast of luck!!

One way of boosting ones concentration doing things around the house is to write down systematically what you have to do. Secondly read it to your self aloud and try imagining doing the task but with exaggeration, for example if you have to wash the dishes, imagine washing massive dishes or even imagine yourself being stab by fork, (LOL).
There are many products in the market that promise to boost concentration. I have read tony Buzan, increase concentration. Also heard of Razor sharp concentration CD.
Try having supplement of GingkoBaloba( from health shops) or have more intake of Fish oil/omega-3.

When you study, you need quiet so you can concentrate. No stereo, iPod, computer, TV, etc. should be on. Study in the library at school. Make sure if you are studying with someone they aren't going to get off course too.

I heard that concentration can be helped by a cup of coffee.

Set yourself a Task List i.e. write everything down that you have to attend to the next day. Allocate a time to do each task and stick to it. Also you can prioritise the tasks in order of urgency. Once completed you will feel much better, the mind clutter will have gone

Remember 'Procrastination is the thief of time'

Good Luck
From one who's been there.

Find out about yout learning style. I propose a simple test.

Get one of your subject coursebooks and pick a specific topic (it can be a short one at first but little by little try for longer time spans) and see what way you aprehend more about it: reading in silence? reading while listening to music? marking interesting points? summarizing it in an outline? drawing mind-maps or trying to illustrate the point(s)? making questions from the text to see if you can answer them later? trying to find a practical application?

Once you know the way you focus best, shape your study environment to suit you and get rid of what could be distracting you.

to boost your confidence just imagine a bright spotlight in the middle of the room and step into it and soak up its positive energy or just pretend you are your fave celebrity and fake confidence just like a fake tan lol to concentrate better you should always drink plenty of water or orange juice becaues they help clear your body of unhealthy toxins that can lead to stress and other things

I find taking notes always helped in lectures.
Omega 3 (found in fish) is also supposed to work, but scientists have also disproved this.
Your concentration will also improve if you are studying something you are really interested in.
