I would have to say the United States. Our Army is one of the best trained in the world, and not just looking @ the Army but there is a cohesion between each branch of the military that leads to well coordinated strikes.

US, via new weapons systems, eg. metal storm and unmanned craft, smart bombs, tank forces, submarine nuclear forces, tactical and strategic nukes.....nothing to do with size, all technology...
