I'm a Pampered Chef consultant, and we've got lots of great tools you can use to make cakes without an oven using a microwave. Any stoneware, Rice Cooker Plus, or batter bowls can go in the microwave to create quick cake recipes. Hope this helps!

Even without an oven you can bake cake. It's easy to do on most outdoor grills. (Be prepared. Always have extra propane or charcoal on hand but never use an outdoor grill indoors.) Baking requires heat from both above and below. If your grill doesn't have a cover, use a bucket or tub to capture the heat and direct it down onto the bread. (You want as much heat coming from above as below.) If the cake is too close to the heat-as it likely is-stick something under the bread pan to raise it-a couple empty tuna cans, an old brick-almost anything will work as long as it doesn't insulate the cake from the heat.

Lots of cheesecake recipes dont need to be baked, u can just put it in the fridge...Heres one:

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup white sugar
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar and cinnamon. Add melted butter and mix well. Press into the bottom of an 8 or 10 inch springform pan. Chill until firm.
In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and lemon juice until soft. Add whipping cream and beat with an electric mixer until batter becomes thick. Add the sugar and continue to beat until stiff. Pour into chilled crust, and top with pie filling. Chill several hours or overnight. Just before serving, remove the sides of the springform pan.

ENJOY!

When I was a child my mother used to bake a cake - on top of the oven - in her cast aluminum fry pan.

I did a search for similar concepts and it seems you will have a choice if you Google - stovetop cakes. Try this link:

Numbers 1 and 5 are possibilities as they can both be done in frying pans on top of the stove.

You can make a PAN cake, a HOE cake, or hot water cornbread (in a skillet), but I know of no way to BAKE a cake w/o an oven.

Unless you use those mixes that you do in the microwave. I can't imagine they are worth the calories, though....

Take the cake mix and all other ingredients, to the middle of the Sierra desert, wait until about noon local time and then leave the cake there for about 6 hours.

You can use a roasting oven or in the microwave. Don't laugh! My grandmother does because she hates using the oven any more, it's too hard for her to bend to lift it out. Go to this website, it talks all about it:

Mix the cake mix, put it in a loaf pan, and set it inside an oval-shaped slow cooker. It takes a few hours. Check it every hour or so.

Make one of those chocolate biscuit cakes you set in the fridge. Or a steam pudding cake you cook in a pan of water.
