i have been at my job for 1yr and im ready to start taking care of kids out of my home. my problem is i dont how to break to news to my boss. she has been good to me but recently she has been making rude comments and i feel like im being taken advantage of. i know she wants to be a stay at home mom and her kids would love it to but she constantly says "i cant wait to quit my job and be at home and to the kids when she is leaving they cry so she says i know miss erin is mean and you want mommy to stay but ill be back" then she leaves. im not mean i just have the children on a schedual and she doesnt i also dont let her 4yr old suck a paci or give the 2yr old a bottle. so they think im mean.the other thing is about 4mths ago they let there cleaning lady go and now they make me feel guilty so pick up the slack.they dont pay me for it and they used to pay her $60 a wk. i never asked for $ because they act like they cant afford it but yet she goes and buys $75 candels. so how do i leave?

Give her a letter of resignation with two week's notice. Do it on a weekend so she can have time to start looking for a replacement or to quit her job if it's really what she wants to do. You don't owe her any explanations, in the letter just say you are open to new opportunities and feel now is the time. I think you will be much happier working for yourself. Good luck.

You have been completely remarkable on your reaction. it could have been much less complicated to have carried out it yet you have been brave and stood up to your rights. as quickly as i replaced into nannying and the dad asked me to make him some dinner. I stated no I even have have been given to get abode. even though it completely felt out of order and uncomfortable. nicely carried out for putting your foot down it replaced into completely irrelevant. He replaced into definatly seeing how some distance he would desire to push you and you made it clean you werent going to be taken for a holiday. Who is often used with what he might have asked for next or later on. If it starts to get extraordinary there then i might pass away. No factor putting your self in a dodgy situation.

If you don't want to do this job any more, do what most people do on their jobs, start looking for another job and when you find one give her your 2 weeks notice and work 2 more weeks for her and quit, that's it. That is all you can do.

just try telling her how you feel about the whole job thing and if she thinks you're mean she might be happy that you're leaving, so just give it a shot and tell her what you think,

just explain your ready to start your own business and giove her a month to find somone else but be strong and let her know you wont allow her to treat you like crap for that month.
