If this guy, Pierson, is right about his gospel of all inclusion, then why do I need to obey Christ, why do I need to follow in His footsteps and look for His righteousness? What does it mean to stay the course and press on? What is this journey through the "Valley of Crying" about if there is no retribution in the end? God is a holy God and He sent His Son to pay the price for my mess, and I continue to live my life like I don't care about His sacrifice and do whatever I please with no regard to His price? Waco, waco people in the body of Christ!

There are some that are so weak that they believe that in the end God will force his will on them to make them believe. Thus all are saved.

God will not do that, and some will be destroyed. I just hope they have enough faith for themselves but I fear there oil will run low.

Am not sure what message this guy Pierson has brought to you, but just the gist of it is that to fight the good fight is one of the messages of Paul's writings...2 Tim...?...In this world there will always be evil and we are surrounded by it. We cannot fight every one of them but we can overcome them by the grace of the power of Christ through the Holy Spirit who will protect and help us to help these helpless people who are captured by Satan. We need to obey the message of christ because that was his mission on earth and he has taught us how to overcome those evil deeds of man. He is the light as we all know and by ourselves we cannot fight the evil one. By the power of christ living in us we can overcome it by changing/making a difference in the life of someone who is going through difficult times. When that person sees you , he sees a transformation in that you are a warrior of christ come to help him. So, it is not actually you he is seeing but christ come to help him. Christ is using you as his instrument to help this person. We will always fall into sin but how many times does he forgive us...? endless times...because he is a loving and forgiving god...I would suggest you utilise the gifts he has given you and not taking him for granted...It is really a sorry state if you choose to live in darkness!

If this guy is right then why did Jesus the Christ die on the cross? If everyone goes to heaven whether they accept Christ or not then what is the purpose of atonement sacrifice that He made.

If there is any other way for someone to get to heaven then Jesus was a liar because he said in John 3:18 "He who believes is not condemned but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I think universalists misuse some prophase

As in Adam all ( mankind) die, in Chirst (all the redeemed) are made alive. Since 'all' is an ambiguous word and you need to know which group it refers to

I have no idea how he would explain Jesus descriptions of the final judgement...

wheat and tares
sheep and goats
good fish and bad
some go into the fire, some into the joy of God

Who is Pierson and why would you listen to any person who doesn't believe in what The Bible says.

Jesus told the woman caught in adultery...

John 8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

and the man waiting at the pool for the angel to trouble the water...

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

So if we accept Jesus and don't follow or "fight the good fight" we will lose all He sacrificed for us on the cross.

James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

James 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

If you live a moral life because you're afraid of divine retribution, your morality is based on a lie and has no value or meaning. If you have to struggle to be good, you're confused about what being good is; perfection arises *not* out of obedience or fear, but out of *understanding*.

All people go to heaven but not all recieve the same rewards. In the highest heaven, we are able to dwell with God and even become like him. In order to achieve this it's not enough to accept Jesus as our saviour. In James 2:20 "But wilt thou know; o vain man that faith without works is dead?"

If you don't accept Christ into your life, you can't go to heaven. The Lord gives you a choice and it's a very easy decision to make. Do you want to live for ever in heaven with God or do you want to be tortured for eternity?
